CHILD CUSTODY/SUPPORT

CHILD CUSTODY/RELOCATION

In order to move more than 50 miles from the child, a parent must gain written consent from the other parent, or court approval. Written agreement must be entered into in order to outline transportation details, visitation requirements and outlining any applicable costs. s. 61.13001(7), F.S.

CHILD SUPPORT

Florida law recognizes that the best interest of the child is served when both parents are involved in meeting his or her emotional and financial needs. Child support is set by guidelines that use a formula to calculate child support.
