STEPHEN BURT, ESQ.

PRESIDENT

Stephen Burt, Esq. is a licensed attorney in the state of Florida. Having recently graduated with his J.D. from Barry University-Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, Stephen Burt served as an Associate Editor for the Barry University Law Review, served in numerous roles within the Student Bar Association, including President, worked in the Immigration Clinic, and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta. Since graduation, Stephen Burt continues to coach teams within the Immigration Clinic as they prepare for various immigration proceedings. Stephen Burt is currently an active member of the Florida Bar's International Law, Family Law, and Solo & Small Firm Sections, the Orange County Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers of America. 

Prior to attending law school, Stephen received his Masters of Music Education from Evangel University and his Bachelors of Arts in Music, Saxophone and Voice from the University of South Carolina.

ALLISON EVANS, ESQ.

ATTORNEY OF COUNCIL

Allison J. Evans, Esq. is a licensed attorney in the state of Florida since 2016. Graduating with her J.D. from Barry University-Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, she severed as the Editor-in-Chief of the Child and Family Law Journal as well as holding several other teaching and research assistant rolls. Since graduation, Allison Evans has practiced business and civil litigation in both state and federal courts in Florida as well as adoption law, and family law. She assists her clients with basic and complex litigation matters, business disputes, family legal matters, and guides families through the adoption process. 

Prior to attending law school, Allison attended Pennsylvania State University where she received her B.A. in Philosophy and Integrative Arts. Allison has also received her L.L.M. in 2021 for completing Baylor University’s Executive Litigation Management program.

JUANITA GOMEZ, JD

PARALEGAL

Juanita Gomez is a Paralegal for S.K. Burt Law. A recent 2022 graduate of Barry University-Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, Juanita was an Associate Editor for the Barry University Child and Family Law Journal, a member of the Hispanic American Law Student Association, and a member of Phi Alpha Delta fraternity. Juanita Gomez is also a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem for the GAL program in Osceola County.

 

Juanita Gomez is originally from Colombia, where she attended Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano and received her degree as Industrial Designer. She later moved to Kolkata, India, where she lived for two years and completed a Gem and Jewelry Entrepreneur course. Juanita Gomez later moved to Central Florida and made Orlando her forever home. Before attending law school, Juanita Gomez was a Business Development Senior Specialist for the Orlando Convention and Visitors Bureau, Visit Orlando.
