Stephen Burt, Esq. is a licensed attorney in the state of Florida. Having recently graduated with his J.D. from Barry University-Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, Stephen Burt served as an Associate Editor for the Barry University Law Review, served in numerous roles within the Student Bar Association, including President, worked in the Immigration Clinic, and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta. Since graduation, Stephen Burt continues to coach teams within the Immigration Clinic as they prepare for various immigration proceedings. Stephen Burt is currently an active member of the Florida Bar's International Law, Family Law, and Solo & Small Firm Sections, the Orange County Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers of America. 

Prior to attending law school, Stephen received his Masters of Music Education from Evangel University and his Bachelors of Arts in Music, Saxophone and Voice from the University of South Carolina.

Allison J. Evans, Esq. is a licensed attorney in the state of Florida since 2016. Graduating with her J.D. from Barry University-Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, she severed as the Editor-in-Chief of the Child and Family Law Journal as well as holding several other teaching and research assistant rolls. Since graduation, Allison Evans has practiced business and civil litigation in both state and federal courts in Florida as well as adoption law, and family law. She assists her clients with basic and complex litigation matters, business disputes, family legal matters, and guides families through the adoption process. 

Prior to attending law school, Allison attended Pennsylvania State University where she received her B.A. in Philosophy and Integrative Arts. Allison is also currently enrolled in Baylor University’s Executive Litigation Management program, where she anticipates completing her LL.M. in 2020.

Estefania Laurita, J.D. recently graduated from Barry University-Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law and is currently preparing to take the FL bar exam. While in school, Estefania Laurita served as the President of the American Constitution Society, the Communication’s Chair of Hispanic American Law Student Association, worked as a Legal Student Representative for the Immigration clinic, and was a member of both the Barry Immigration organization and Phi Alpha Delta. Through her involvement in the immigration clinic, Estefania was able to represent her client at an Individual hearing where she successfully stopped her client’s deportation. In addition to her involvement in law school, Estefania Laurita taught a free 8-week Citizenship class to help members of the immigrant community prepare for their Naturalization interviews; 3 of which have successfully become Citizens. Estefania’s passion for immigration law is driven by her personal experience as a “DACA Recipient,” and she is determined to utilize this passion towards helping the clients of S.K. Burt Law, P.A.

 

Prior to attending law school, Estefania received her Bachelors of Art in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. While in attendance, she was awarded the Jupiter Life Long Learning Society Scholarship and won the award for Distinguished Delegation at Model United Nations in New York City.

Ashley Hernandez, M.A. is a legal assistant for S.K. Burt Law. She currently attends Barry University-Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. Ashley Hernandez is Barry School of Law's 2020 Bluebook Competition Champion and a member of the Immigration Law Society. Ashley Hernandez hopes to graduate with her J.D. at Barry School of Law by 2022 and soon after become a Florida licensed attorney. Ashley Hernandez is originally from New Jersey, where she attended Montclair State University. While attending she served as the Treasurer for Montclair State University's Pre-Law Society and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Political Science and Law Department of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Prior to attending law school, Ashley received her Master of Arts in Law and Governance from Montclair State University as well as her Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence and a minor in Psychology.
